Who We Are
EBC Cares is the outreach ministry of Elizabeth Baptist Church, a historic African American church rooted in service, justice, and compassion. We respond to the needs of individuals and communities through generosity, faith, and action. From food access and hygiene support to education, tax services, and global missions, we work to restore dignity and inspire hope.
Why We Exist
Families across Atlanta face food insecurity, financial hardship, limited resources, and barriers to educational advancement. EBC Cares steps in to meet these needs with love, support, and practical help—ensuring no one walks alone. We exist to serve, uplift, and empower communities spiritually and physically.
Our Programs
EBC Cares Center
Provides hygiene items, clothing, household goods, baby supplies, and emergency resources to families and partner organizations.
Urban Farm & Food Access
Delivers fresh produce grown at the Nedé Cascade Urban Farm and increases food access across underserved communities.
VITA Tax Ministry
Offers free IRS-certified tax preparation services to help families maximize refunds and avoid predatory tax filing fees.
Education & Scholarships
Supports students with scholarships and academic resources to help them pursue higher education, leadership, and purpose.
